  • ABOUT OUR PRESIDENT-

Danny Smyth was born in Bristol, Pennsylvania. He started working with his father at the age of 9 helping, as a gopher, painting homes and continued that through his teenage years.

Once graduated, the family decided to move to Florida in 1989 to continue the painting business with Regency Communities and then on to other Builders that noticed the quality of work that they instilled within their jobsites.

Danny went to USF for Construction Technologies which is where he learned how to draw blueprints by hand (and still likes to do it that way versus the CAD system) and had used those prints to build his very first home after he had gotten married to his childhood sweetheart Nicole in 1993.

Danny continued to help his father with their Painting Business but also had built 11 other homes on the side for friends and family.

Due to Danny working with his father and being in Hernando County for the past 33 years, he has grown to know a lot of other Construction Companies and employees within the construction trades and has made many friends along the way.

He was introduced the HBA in 2003 and had become a Board Member in 2014 and then moved on to 1st Vice President 2 Years ago.

Danny loves to Golf and spend time with his wife Nicole of 29 years and has two girls, Ashlie, which recently got married in March and Gracie, who will be graduating Highschool next summer.
